Quality and materials
Acaves ink: the details worth checking.
Read product claims in their proper scope, from cartridge construction to climate-related labeling.
Materials and product descriptions
The 280XXL/281XXL listing describes recycled plastic in its construction. Several Acaves listings describe inspection during production or before shipment. Those statements concern the listed products; they are not a universal test result for every cartridge or a guarantee of performance in every printer.
ClimatePartner Verified
The 280XXL/281XXL five-pack listing displays ClimatePartner Verified, number 45UUPF. ClimatePartner describes this label in terms of carbon accounting, reduction targets and measures, financing climate projects and disclosure. It does not establish printer compatibility or print quality.
Read ClimatePartner’s explanation of the label.
Yield is not a quality certificate
Listed page yields are figures for a particular product under stated conditions. A 5% coverage claim does not by itself establish an ISO/IEC 24711 test. Your documents, settings and maintenance affect actual output. Keep separate black and color yields separate when comparing packs.
Check your own setup
Match the complete printer model, inspect the packaging and confirm the chip configuration before installation. Test a representative page with appropriate paper and settings. Follow the equipment manual if output needs attention.
